R-1-001 Rocking Autoclave System (Mineral Dissolution)

OVERVIEW:
The R-1-001 Dual-Furnace Rocking Autoclave can be used to perform tests using flexible titanium cells as batch reactors at elevated temperatures and pressures. These tests can include rock-water interaction, crystal dissolution and growth, solubility measurements, supercritical CO2 evaluation studies and others at temperatures to 400 °C and pressure to 500 bars. Standard cells are manufactured from grade 2 titanium and have volumes of up to 250 cc. The dual furnace rocker includes all pressure lines, pressure transducers, burst disks and safety heads. The rocker moves through 180 degrees of rotation at approximately 4 rotations per minute. The dual temperature controller is used to control temperatures in the furnaces as well as monitor operating pressure and temperatures in each cell.

FEATURES:
• Can be used for dissolution and kinetic studies at elevated temperatures and pressures in an inert environment
• Complete ready to operate systems or components available
• Flexible cell design allows for operation at constant pressures and temperatures without dilution during sampling
• Sampling valves, test cells, exit tubes, pressurizing pumps, pressure regulators all available as accessories
