CSES-350 CO2 Sequestration Evaluation System

OVERVIEW:

The CSES-350 CO2 Sequestration Evaluation System is a multifunctional flow system for performing CO2 sequestration, water-rock interaction studies at elevated temperatures and pressures using a sleeved core sample. The tests can be carried out at pore pressures up to 6,000 psi, confining pressures up to 9,950 psi, and temperatures up to 300 °F. A fundamental part of the CSES-350 is the dual Quizix pulsation-free pumping subsystem. This subsystem is used to control liquid flow and pore pressure in the system. The dual pumps allow the system to simultaneously flow two phases into the core sample at different rates.
