The CE-520 Centrifugal Extractor is an instrument that provides one of the fastest core cleaning procedures available. Samples are placed into a chamber that rotates while hot distilled solvents are dispensed to the cores. The hot solvent is forced into the core samples by centrifugal force. Solvents are then recycled into a distillation unit where they are distilled back into the core sample chamber.

The GEU-500 Glass Extraction Unit utilizes the Soxhlet method of cleaning core samples, which is an API standard that involves boiling solvent, condensing the clean solvent vapors, collecting the clean solvent in a reflux chamber that contains the dirty samples, and recycling the dirty solvent back into the boiling flask of solvent.
