OVERVIEW:
The HFS-340 Hydrothermal Flow System can be used to perform dynamic flow-through tests with consolidated rock samples at elevated temperatures and pressures. These tests can include kinetic and solubility studies, rock-water interaction experiments, tracer injection, and others at temperatures to 400 °C and pressure to 500 bars. It is equipped with separate alarm circuits for shutting off furnace power in the case of over temperature or pressure conditions. A computer interface board and software are also available as an option for logging temperature and pressures.
FEATURES:
• Complete ready to operate systems or components available
• Linear (rigid) reaction cell design allows for operation under confining pressures and high temperatures
• Sampling valves, test cells, exit tubes, pressurizing pumps, pressure regulators all available as accessories
OPTIONS:
• High pressure pump
• Digital back pressure regulator
• Confining pressure controller
