The CPM-400 Core Preparation Mill is an industrial grade, high-precision, coring drill that enables the user to drill precise core samples with an automatic, variable force, constant pressure feed. It comes with a containment pan and vise capable of handling rock samples up to three feet (one meter) long. The head of the mill can be rotated for high angle core drilling along the dip of bedding planes.

A constant pressure feed enables the coring bit to drill fast in soft rock, but the rate of advance will automatically slow down in harder rock. The constant pressure feed feature offers the most efficient method for taking core plug samples.
